Who are you looking for?

1

We are looking for friendly and reliable people to join our growing Aquababies teaching team

Do I need any specific background or skills?

2

No prior experience required! If you are enthusiastic and willing to learn, we will train you to become a fully qualified swimming teacher!

You need to be comfortable engaging in singing, play-based learning, and communicating with diverse families. We expect that you demonstrate patience, empathy, and enthusiasm in every session.

You need to be at least 18 years old, able to communicate in English, able to swim 25 metres unaided, and able to dive to the bottom of the pool (up to 1.5 metres) for lifesaving purposes. We will train you in every skill that you will need.

What does a swimming teacher do?

3

We deliver safe, engaging swimming lessons to babies, toddlers, and their parents, focusing on water confidence, bonding, and foundational aquatic skills.

We teach young children and adults how to improve their swimming skills from complete beginners, up to advanced levels.

We also deliver fun aquatic-based classes to adults, focusing on aerobics and wellness.

Where and when would I teach?

4

We teach in pools all over Malta and Gozo in the mornings, afternoons, on weekdays and on weekends. You let us know the hours that you can work, and we will find the right sessions for you to teach in to fit around your lifestyle.
