Aquakiddies Classes

  • AGE GROUP: 4 YEARS AND OLDER (Independent swimmers)

    At Aquakiddies Level, children are swimming independently. They are strong enough, co-ordinated enough and have built up the stamina to do many things independently. During these classes they will develop correct body position, kicking technique, breathing, jumps and dives for safety and confidence. Learning the correct technique for freestyle and backstroke whilst introducing breaststroke.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Swimmers have to be able to swim up to 6 meters without any aides, confident to jump and submerge. Children swim alone with the teacher in the pool. (No parents swimming in the pool)

The price is ​€23 per session (The number of sessions ranges between 11-12 for this term, due to Public Holidays)

  • Autumn 2025 term dates: 29th September till 20th December

  •  Class time is subject to change and will be confirmed closer to start date

  •  1 Replacement/ make-up lesson will be given per term as per the policy

  • The Imperial, 1 Rudolph Street, Sliema SLM 1279:

    • Hydropool heated between 32 -34 degrees Celsius (average)

    • Maximum depth 1.4m

    • Ramp with railing for easy access into the pool

    • Lockers (bring your own padlock)

    • Showers and changing area with benches

    • Underground parking available at own cost through CT Park, Santa Maria street. (Just round the corner from the Imperial main entrance in Rudolph street)

  • Therapy & Leisure Centre, 89 Triq Sant Antnin, Marsaskala MSK4070

    • A section of the pool is used for the session.

    • Pool depth: 1 – 1.2 metres (designated area).

    • Water temperature maintained at 30–32°C.

    • Ramp with railing for easy pool access.

    • Lockers available (bring your own key).

    • Facilities include showers, changing rooms, benches, and a nappy-changing station.

    • On-site parking available on a first-come, first-served basis.

    • Bathing caps required, except for young children with very short hair.
